ABOUT THE BASE
4TK's 'The Base' gives Victoria’s youth a network of safe and inclusive community spaces away from the stress and triggers they may find at home by providing the with a place where they feel welcome to socialise, free to relax
and comfortable enough to ask for help.
'The Base' will be open to all aged 13 to 18, no matter backgrounds, life circumstances or upbringing, so every kid has a home away from home.
Moving kids off the streets to our centres, we offer a range of classes, resources and qualified staff to create a welcoming space for kids to belong, without any judgement.

MISSION & VISION
We believe in providing young adults with a safe space away from the stress and triggers found in their home. An environment that can stimulate their minds and provide them with a fair chance at life that all individuals deserve. Our vision with THE BASE is to make a space that's inviting, where all kids feel welcome and not the odd one out, a safe place for young people to socialise, access resources and study in a ‘home away from home’ environment
SUPPORTIVE LEARNING
The Academic Program at The Base provides an opportunity for students to get help with their homework and tutoring support.

The base offers daily academic enrichment activities which provide additional learning experiences.
